Australian Lavender Growers' Association
The Australian Lavender Growers' Association Inc, TALGA, is a totally non-profit, voluntary association, with a membership drawn from lavender growers, government, institutions, and product manufacturers.
TALGA is committed to being a proactive, dynamic and strong association that promotes and represents the lavender industry within Australia.
Our goal as an industry is to produce quality lavender and lavender products with the aim of import replacement and the production of these quality products for world export.
The association's committee meets regularly, keeping in touch with the grass roots of the association via liaison representatives who are located throughout Australia.
Within Australia there are area groups which have formed under the TALGA banner to promote the lavender industry within their area and to share the knowledge of local growing conditions for lavender.
The association holds regular conferences to promote the lavender industry and to provide a forum for the propagation of information to new and existing growers' of lavender. These conferences are the ideal forum for networking amongst lavender growers', committee members and industry representatives.
Several field days and festivals are run by groups of TALGA members throughout the year.
